Tutorial Progress

🧭 Overview

Beyond the main books, WIT English offers four unique Extra Lesson Series.
Each one focuses on a specific skill or approach, giving teachers extra flexibility to adapt lessons to their students' needs or to assign meaningful independent work.

These lessons are designed to be standalone and modular — you can use them anytime, in any order, to boost particular skills or bring variety to your teaching.

🧩 The Four Series

🧠 1. Language Lab

Break down tricky sounds, grammar, and pronunciation through guided, step-by-step practice.
Each lesson focuses on specific elements of English that require focused attention — like pronunciation challenges, confusing tenses, or special constructions.
They often include listening sections, repetition drills, and interactive visuals.

Use it:

🔹 Great for review days or for students who finish early in class.
In class for targeted pronunciation or grammar sessions.
🔹 As short warm-ups before main lessons.
🔹 Or assign as home practice for students who need extra reinforcement.
Goal: Build accuracy, control, and confidence in speaking and form.
💻 2. Study Session

These are project-based lessons designed to develop research, writing, and presentation skills.
Students follow a guided structure to brainstorm, organize ideas, and create something — like a report, poster, or short essay — step by step.

Use it:

🔹 As an independent study project or homework task.
🔹 In class, during special project weeks or workshops.
🔹 In pairs or small groups for collaborative tasks.
Goal: Help students learn how to plan, write, and present like real communicators — with structure and creativity.
🌍 3. Trend Talk

A series focused on real-world topics, current issues, and debates.
Each lesson includes short texts or videos, vocabulary highlights, comprehension tasks, and discussion prompts.
They're designed to make students think critically and speak confidently about modern topics.

Use it:

🔹 In class to promote debate and opinion-sharing.
🔹 Or assign it as extended homework to prepare for next class discussions.
🔹 Perfect for conversation-driven lessons or end-of-week sessions.
Goal: Develop fluency, argumentation, and cultural awareness while keeping lessons relevant and engaging.
🗂️ 4. Vocabulary Expanded

These lessons revolve around theme-based vocabulary — from everyday topics to unusual or fun themes.
They often include interactive flashcards, mini quizzes, curiosities, and short practice activities.

Use it:

🔹 As quick vocab boosters at the start or end of class.
🔹 Or assign for self-study between units.
🔹 Goal: Expand word knowledge in a natural, visual, and memorable way.

💡 Teaching Tips

You don't need to use all four series every week — mix and match based on your group's needs.

Each lesson is designed to last 20–40 minutes but can easily be shortened or extended.

Most can be done individually by students at home, freeing class time for speaking and interaction.

Use them as bonus material, home assignments, or skill-focused workshops anytime during the term.

🏁 Summary

The Extra Lesson Series are your flex tools — they add depth, variety, and creativity to your regular classes.
They're perfect for adapting lessons, supporting individual needs, or keeping students engaged with new and exciting content outside the main book flow.
